A large, bold black and white puzzle where you are invited to place a single piece to create a shared piece of art will be the focal point of a special exhibition exploring shadows and reflections at the Henshaws Arts and Crafts Center in Knaresborough North Yorkshire .
This social-distancing show was made possible through support from the Henshaws Arts and Crafts Center which hosted and supported Harrogate’s Masters of Creative Practice students led by Annabel Smith at Harrogate College with assistance from Douglas Thompson and all Henshaws personnel.
Douglas Thompson said:
The Henshaws Arts and Crafts Center has been so supportive of postgraduate students studying their Masters in Creative Practice, especially since we have followed the steps that emerged from Covid. The center, which has an outdoor space, has offered a small number of micro-residences to students and this has been very positive for these artists. Marc Malton described his time carving in the private woodland garden at the back of the Arts Center as “inspiring, relaxing and the best setting to create my work that I have had in years. “
