Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society launches search for new ambassador

The Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society is seeking to appoint an Ambassador for 2023 to help office holders promote and achieve the aims of the society.

This volunteer role will follow 2022 Ambassador Carys Phillips at this year’s County Fair and other company events.

They will also play an important role in promoting the work of society, the agricultural industry and rural life in Pembrokeshire.

Anyone between the ages of 18 and 30 and residing in Pembrokeshire can apply for the position.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview on August 16, 2022 at the county office.

The successful candidate will receive a stipend of £200 and membership in the society for three years.

Mansel Raymond, president of the company, said: “The role of ambassador is important.

“In order to fulfill the role successfully, the candidate must have excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm to perform the required tasks.

“Knowledge of county society and entertainment is desirable. Last year was the first year we opened up applications to all and made the role inclusive for all.”
