It’s no secret that the North Coast and Long Beach Peninsula are teeming with talented artists of all mediums, from textile arts to poetry. Whatever the medium, each local artist creates his pieces in a unique way with an art faithful to himself and his passions.
Local artisans are no exception, whether they’ve been making for decades or weeks. While several artisans are often featured in local galleries or local craft classes, there are also many lesser-known artisans.
Coast Weekend wants to celebrate craftsmanship with you, no matter how long you’ve been creating art. If you have a craft or piece of art that you have made since the start of the coronavirus pandemic and would like to see it featured on Coast Weekend, email [email protected] or visit the “feature” feature. Send us your news ”to the address week-end-côte.com. In your submission, include a photo of your artwork, your name, city of residence, and the name of your artwork if it has one.
Reader submissions will be featured in an upcoming edition of Coast Weekend.
If you know of a local artist (or yourself) who has not yet been featured in a Coast Weekend article and would like to become one, please send a few sentences about the artist, along with their contact details to the above email address or submission form. Inclusion of photos of the artist’s work is recommended but not required.
