Children at a Norfolk high school will finally be able to don their sequin-covered technicolor costumes after beating all the odds of Covid.
Kirk Wills is the creative genius behind the Norfolk Costume Company based in Norwich.
He created the outfits for the cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Aylsham High School, years after the show was first commissioned.
Mr Wills, who also ran the show, said: “We were determined that the students and my costumes had a show through thick and thin.
“I found the students to be a real inspiration with their willingness to continue the show with an audience.”

The production was rearranged four times during the lockdown, ultimately deciding to move the show to December 2021.
Mr Wills said: “For the first time in 22 years of productions at Aylsham High School productions, we have decided to use 7 years in the lead roles.”
George Barlett-Archerry will play the lead role of Joseph in the production, he said, “Leading the company in my first full-scale musical is nerve-racking, but I jumped at the chance.
