Have you ever listened to a song and been so moved that it was repeated for days or even weeks? I did, and the only thing better than that feeling is finding out that the music video for this song is even more breathtaking than the song itself. We understand things with the five senses, don’t we? So it makes sense that the music that catches the eye and the ears will be even more powerful.

This week there were tracks released by well-known artists such as country artist Amythyst Kiah, R&B artist Saba and the 40s King D-Nice that reminded us of club 40s with a new Live-esque Instagram clip. Videos that illustrate each song give viewers a glimpse into the creative process.

Joyce Wrice and Starrah, two leading artists in the hip-hop world, have each released their long-awaited debut albums; Wrice’s hit single “On One” gives off a “hot girl summer” vibe while Starrah’s “Miss This” is the epitome of a seductive love song.

At this point, we have survived this global panorama for a little over a year. The colorful and vibrant visuals that accompany the songs released this week match the energy the world gives off, as if the music knows things are starting to get better.
