Recently teamed up with Bad Bunny for Easter-themed kicks, adidas has now teamed up with McDonald’s for the next fast food chain. All American Games. The collaboration includes the Forum ’84 High sneakers, as well as co-branded clothing.
Created in partnership with the designer Eric Emanuel, the collection is dedicated to basketball fans with shorts, hoodies, tracksuits and more. “The Games have meant so much to basketball fans across the country for over 40 years – as we’ve seen young stars grow to basketball greats,” said Elizabeth Campbell, senior director of cultural engagement at McDonald’s in the States. -United in a press release. “In this unprecedented year, we’re giving fans a new way to celebrate the Games through this exciting adidas collaboration and the unique creations of Eric Emanuel.” The designer added, “The McDonald’s All American Games are the pinnacle of high school basketball, and I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember.”
The Games-inspired collection includes hoodies in two colourways, as well as basketball shorts adorned with classic McDonald’s fries. As for shoes, adidas adilette slides arrive in yellow, red and white – the iconic colors of the fast food brand that can also be found on the Forum ’84 High sneakers. The shoes are paired with star-embellished pants featuring the athletic brand’s signature three stripes down the sides.
