Man accused of exposing himself to Murray Hill on leave from dance studio



JACKSONVILLE, Florida – Following reports of a man who repeatedly exposed himself in the Murray Hill neighborhood, Jacksonville police made an arrest.

Records show Savery Morgan, 37, was being held on $ 1,500 bail Wednesday night. News4Jax has learned the man works with children at a Jacksonville-area dance studio, Florida Ballet.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said he was first sent to the neighborhood on April 15 after a report of someone exposing themselves during a sex act.

As a result of the initial report, police said, additional social media posts began to appear appearing to be related and indicating the type of car he might be driving – a red Chevy Impala.

The police had been looking for the car for several days. Police said on Tuesday morning someone spotted the car, took a photo of the license plate and sent it to police.

Morgan was questioned and then arrested at his work.

On Thursday morning, he appeared before a judge who offered Morgan 12 months probation and ordered that he submit to psychosexual counseling within 30 days if he pleads guilty or without challenge.
