After delaying the iPhone 12 series due to the pandemic, Apple appears to be back on track in 2021. Reports suggest the iPhone 13 will debut in September, even with ongoing chip shortages. At this point, the leaks have spoiled all the mysteries surrounding the 2021 iPhones, including the design. Overall, the new models are going to look familiar to you, but there are a few notable changes. One of those changes was highlighted by a leaked iPhone 13 Pro case.

Monday, a Weibo user shared a picture an iPhone 12 Pro in a case purportedly designed for an iPhone 13 Pro. The phone is generally fine, but the cutout for the camera module is way too large. Based on leaked dummy models, we knew the design of the cameras was going to change. This leaked case does a great job of showing just how drastic this change will be.
Another Weibo user followed on Tuesday with footage of even more cases disclosed. It looks like the iPhone 13 Pro Max will also have a larger camera module, but the difference won’t be that extreme. Basically, the iPhone 13 Pro camera module will have the most outstanding new design.
IPhone 13 Pro case saves previous leaks
As MacRumors points out, even though these are “legitimate” iPhone 13 cases, manufacturers usually start designing cases based on details leaked on the internet. In all likelihood, case makers know as much about the design of the iPhone 13 as we do. As such, take it all with a grain of salt.
That said, the iPhone 13 leaks have been gushing out at a breakneck pace in recent weeks. As we said above, there may not be much more to announce when Apple takes the stage in September. Reports claim the iPhone 13 will feature a smaller notch, faster chips, and better battery life.
There are also rumors that Apple will finally add a 120Hz display, but we may have to wait until 2022. Finally, leaks have cast doubt on Apple using the number 13 for its new line of phones. Instead, the 2021 models could bring back the “S” – iPhone 12s, iPhone 12s Pro, etc.
