After a year in quarantine, the highly acclaimed and FREE La Jolla Art & Wine Festival returns to the quaint streets of La Jolla with even more prestigious artwork, international wine, craft beer and family entertainment. Saturday October 9 and Sunday October 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

With a spectacular coastline, an upscale village atmosphere and picturesque views, La Jolla is the perfect setting for the beloved and widely recognized La Jolla Art & Wine Festival. There really is something for everyone, including over 150 artist jurors from all over the world, 3D chalk art exhibits, interactive art murals, non-stop live music, a family art, traveling entertainment, a gourmet food court and wine, beer and spirits garden crafts with local breweries, distilleries and wineries around the world.

An incredible showcase of art and a tasty journey

The curated and curated artist collection showcases the incredible talent of today’s top designers in a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, jewelry design, fine glass, ceramics, woodwork, mixed media and photography.

But don’t worry – you don’t have to be an art lover to enjoy this showcase – or a sommelier to appreciate the variety of award-winning international wines! The iconic wine and beer garden features more than 40 wineries, craft breweries and distilleries, offering a variety of regional and international flavors. Let the hosts and hostesses of the garden guide your taste buds on a tasty journey of some of the most beautiful libations in the world. Reserve your place in advance so you don’t miss a thing!

Inspire your inner artist

The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival welcomes not only wine and art lovers, but also anyone looking to inspire their inner artist through practical and imaginative activities! The Family Art Center offers interactive demonstrations, science experiments, and crafts for all ages. Paint on a car, learn more about 3D printing or the latest robotics technology: the ingenuity is endless and the fun is plentiful in this free activity center!

New this year

From 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., The foundation fully expressed, a non-profit organization that provides workspaces and business planning for emerging artists, will host a fundraising event in the Wine and Beer Garden. They will highlight two musical acts with drinks and food available for participants. Tickets can be purchased in advance and put on sale outside the Wine and Beer Garden before the start of the event.

All proceeds raised at La Jolla Art & Wine Festival go to underfunded programs such as art, music, science, physical education, technology and medical care on site in the five elementary public schools, intermediate and secondary of La Jolla. For more information visit here or call 619.233.5008.
