The suicide squad Director James Gunn recently revealed which of the Task Force X costumes is his favorite.
It’s not long before audiences can finally meet the new Task Force X in James Gunn’s The suicide squad, featuring a new batch of rookies among a few familiar faces from David Ayer’s 2016 film. The director recently spoke about the new costumes worn by the eclectic group of villains, first explaining that Idris’ Bloodsport costume Elba is complex and seems to have a lot going on in the action itself. But Gunn also revealed which new costume was his favorite.
Asked online about his favorite costume, James Gunn explained that when he described how he wanted David Dastmalchian’s Polka-Dot Man costume to appear with costume designer Judianna Makovsky, his team created a version of the costume that perfectly suited the original idea from Gunn. . Take a look at the director talking about the “slightly ill-fitting outfit” below.
I love them all, but I described the sad Polka Dot Man / supervillain-grade-b-soldier with a slightly ill-fitting-outfit – and – the glasses look like Judianna, and her team made A 1st design and that’s what it is today. Judianna can see in my brain! https://t.co/PemvEvxO4W

Welcome to Hell – aka Belle Reve, the highest fatality prison in the United States of A. Where the worst super villains are kept and where they will do anything to get out – even join the super secret and super task. Shady Force X. Today’s do-or-die assignment? Assemble a collection of drawbacks including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin, and everyone’s favorite psychopath, Harley Quinn. Then heavily arm them and drop them (literally) on the remote, enemy infused island of Corto Maltese. Trekking through a jungle teeming with militant adversaries and guerrillas at every turn, the squad is on a search and destroy mission, with only Colonel Rick Flag on the ground to make them behave … and the technicians of the Amanda Waller’s government in their ears, tracking their every move. And as always, one wrong move and they’re dead (whether at the hands of their opponents, a teammate, or Waller herself). If anyone makes bets, the smart money is against them – all of them.
