The Center for Sustainable Agricultural Systems is one of three major research centers of the Institute for Life and Environmental Sciences. The Center conducts research and engagements that improve the management of agricultural enterprises as complex and integrated systems, maximizing production and conservation.

Reporting to the Director of the Institute, an exciting opportunity now exists for an outstanding academic leader to take on the role of Director of the Center for Sustainable Agricultural Systems. As Director of the Center, you will lead and influence key research outcomes and work with academic and professional research teams to develop world-class capacity while ensuring high-quality innovation and impact.

USQ is seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic academic leader with discipline-aligned research and teaching expertise and a proven track record of success in high-quality publications and attracting funding. Your ability to lead collaboratively should be complemented by your demonstrated ability to engage and build partnerships with industry and government.
