Crafts and snacks at St Mary’s Church, Lymm


THE popular craft and snack church at St Mary’s Church, Lymm is coming back, bigger and better than ever.

After a long absence, due to COVID, Crafts and Snacks will resume on Saturday, October 16 at 11 a.m.


It is open to children and their parents / guardians and includes 30-40 minutes of craft activities on a Bible theme, 10-15 minutes of Bible songs and stories and ends with a buffet of sandwiches, chips and cakes. .
Rector Reverend Beverley Jameson said: “On October 16 it’s all about light, so we’ll be making paper lanterns, decorating candles, sun catcher crosses and decorating cookies.
“The Craft Snacks Church used to be extremely popular. Moms and dads enjoyed it as much as the kids.
“I look forward to many families coming for our morning of crafts, songs, stories, food, fun – and lots of cakes.”
St Mary’s Craft and Snacks Church is free and open to children of all ages, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
For protection reasons, the church will be closed to members of the public who do not attend Craft Snacks Church.
On Sunday October 24, St Mary’s will host an informal family service at 10 a.m. where the theme will once again be on light and free glow sticks will be handed out.
