Courteney Cox may have found her real Ross.
the Friends star has pricelessly recreated her famous dance “routine” with singer Ed Sheeran on Instagram. To the uninitiated, “the routine” was a dance number Ross (David Schwimmer) and his sister Monica (Cox) starred in a Season 6 episode, “The One With The Routine”. In the now famous episode, the sibling duo pulled out the rehearsal act of hibernation in an attempt to get camera attention on the set of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin ‘Eve.”
While not as flush with the original, the Grammy Award winner was in tune with Cox until she hilariously jumped on Sheeran, taking the two to the ground.
Cox wrote, “Just a routine dance with a friend…” with the hashtag “ReRoutine”.
‘Peacemaker’: Freddie Stroma to replace Chris Conrad in HBO Max ‘Suicide Squad’ spin-off
Last week, HBO Max hosted a Friends special reunion with stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer. The original cast returned to the original soundstage for the iconic comedy, Stage 24, on the grounds of the Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank for an unscripted celebration of the beloved series.
Returning to the original set, Aniston had a nostalgic and emotional reaction.
“It was a punch to the heart in a way,” Friends’ Star Aniston told Gayle King in an interview on King’s SiriusXM show, Gayle King in the house. “We were very naive in what we expected. It was excitement. “ It will be so much fun to walk on set and they take all the sets out of storage and put them all back together. “Every, I mean, down to the shelves and the little chotchkie details…. We fictionalized it, but you also have to remember we didn’t go. And that moment was a very specific time when we were saying goodbye to something we didn’t want, we cared deeply, but we knew it was time to say goodbye. Our lives were ahead of us. We had our future ahead of us. And it was almost as if time had stood still and we were time traveling. And there’s good in there, and then there’s sorrow in it.
