From the director:
The Williston Park Library is excited to announce our partnership with Page Turner Adventures to provide a fun and virtual summer experience for children.
Please refer to the calendar of events for children on our website, willistonparklibrary.org. Each week will have a different theme and each day will offer a new experience: theater performances, stories, crafts, interviews with authors and illustrators of children’s books, contests, games, special guest artists, virtual excursions and much more. .
Monday is show day with a virtual storytelling show; Tuesday is Crafts Day with crafts, games, recipes, science experiments and other activities; Wednesday is Authors and Illustrators Day with fun interviews, readings, quizzes, book giveaways and other activities with children’s authors and illustrators; Thursday is Mashup Day with more crafts and activities; and Friday is Guest Day with special guests related to that week’s theme.
