Design Trust / RCA Fellowship in Design Curation 2022
Design Trust / RCA Fellowship in Design Curation 2022 invites interested applicants with a focus on the “Hyperlocal” theme. Two fellows will be selected and will receive six-month fellowship opportunities for research, learning and engagement at the London-based Royal College of Art, widely supported by the Design Trust. The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday 23 September 2021 at 12 p.m. GMT. Apply now!

Based at the Royal College of Art in London, the fellows will undertake advanced research on curatorial practice in relation to contemporary design and recent design history. Areas of interest may include: strategies for exhibition construction, presentation, interpretation and collections; design archives; design curating in the public sphere; theory and method of design as curatorial practice; the conservation of emerging technologies; and the history and current practice of design curating. Design start-up and functionality grants
Design Trust offers grants to individual designers, curators, collectives, and non-profit organizations for context and content-focused projects and activities relevant to Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area and the Greater Bay Area. These projects include, but are not limited to: conferences, exhibitions, residencies, research projects and creative installations.
