Taping

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

The taping of our segment in the Michigan Farm & Garden show went extremely well.  Our hostess, Jody, was just great!  We filled the interview table full of all kinds of products and items that will be seen at FAAF this year.  It had to look really odd carrying all those items into the TV station.  The show airs on June 6th at 7:00 AM on our local stations.

Counting down…

It is barely three weeks until the June festival.  We received a few more exhibitors for the event this week and I need to post them quickly.  This is going to be our largest festival to-date.  I am truly excited about seeing the new exhibitors and critters alike!

We are confirmed that we are going to be on the Michigan Farm & Garden television show.  We heading over to the taping later this week.  Our segment will last seven minutes.  I am getting together all the information and props (wool, spindles, products) to show the viewers.  If I could bring critters, I would.  But, I thought it would be quite difficult getting llamas to stay still for that long.

Barely a month to go…

We’re quickly approaching 30 days prior to the June event.  We added a few more exhibitors and are excited to see such enthusasm from everyone.  We have confirmed that we will have a four-person folk musical group playing in the afternoon.  In the spirit of free demonstrations, we will have an exhibitor showing how to make simple cheese with goat’s milk.

I still need to update the June workshop page.  Now that life has calmed down a bit, I expect to have some time in the next day or so to get that done.
